This website is being created for and during the Disseminating Dress conference in York, which probably means you’re here too, since nobody else knows about the website yet (sneak preview!). Please find me at the conference or email me your suggestions to help this resource grow.

This website is intended to be a directory of advanced training programs in the growing field of fashion studies. What does “advanced training” mean? Good question. Of course, this website includes the increasing number of PhD programs available around the world. However, we also recognize the importance of more practice-based programs, not all of which are offered beyond the master’s level. Take a look at different approaches to this discipline by category, and you’ll see the “best” programs, or the ones with the most terminal degrees.
